Sweet Dreams Intermingled With Nightmares (1909) Segundo de Chomón

This early silent film was released in 1909 in France and was directed by Segundo de Chomón. It is about a lady who falls asleep on a bench by a pond. She first has a nightmare in which evil looking dwarfs with white beards show her their cave and then try to burn her alive. After waking up she falls asleep again to have a good dream about a prince proposing to her. After waking up again a man tries to kiss her and she knocks him down.
