The Grim Game (1919) Harry Houdini

This film directed by Irvin Willat and starring Harry Houdini was filmed in 1919, just after world War I. In the film the main character, Harvey Hanford, played by Houdini jailed unjustly for a murder he did not commit uses his amazing powers of escape to free himself and pursue the actual killers, who hold his fiancée captive.
