Sea Fighting in Greece is a 1897 French short black-and-white silent drama film, directed by Georges Méliès, featuring a reenactment of a naval battle during the Greco-Turkish War of 1897 -- although in reality, there were no naval clashes during the war. The film's, "pitching and tossing," effect," was achieved thanks to a structured decor of the set.
